Recent Highlights

These are just a few of the programs supported through EAT HERE NOW donations. All year long, Kiwanis Club members show up quietly—sharing holiday joy, packing books, stocking food pantries, supporting community days, sponsoring library programs, and helping local families wherever they’re needed.

In 2025, 27 members contributed to 22 service projects, many volunteering time and again. Together with community partners, they brought hope, joy, and opportunity to hundreds of children in our community.

  • Awarded $4,500 in scholarships to deserving Asbury Park High School students.

  • Invested in youth at Covenant House by fully funding room makeover supplies, birthday celebrations, landscaping, and ongoing house maintenance.

  • Created and fully-funded a magical day at Allaire Community Farm for children with Down syndrome and their families.

  • Sponsored an Asbury Park Little League team with uniforms, equipment, and healthy snacks.

  • Donated $1,600 to support Trinity Center for Community through the Jersey Shore Ride for Food Justice.

  • Co-sponsored weekly summer activities caled "Play on Pine" with Second Life Bikes, including biking, crafts, books, water play, and nutritious snacks.

  • Built and stocked Book Arks and Beach Toy Borrow Boxes to bring learning, creativity, and joy to elementary school children—at school and on the beach.

  • Attended the Jersey Shore Arts Center’s Halloween Trunk or Treat with a spooky Kiwanis truck packed with healthy snacks, fun treats, popular toys, and loose candy.
