The Kiwanis Club of Asbury Park is a volunteer-driven, non-denominational 501(c)(4) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the local community and improving the lives of children in need. Founded in 1918 and rechartered in 2020, the club is part of Kiwanis International, a global organization serving communities in more than 80 countries. Bringing individuals and businesses together, the club creates meaningful local impact through hands-on service and initiatives that support children year-round.

Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club—no matter where it’s located. Collectively, Kiwanis members around the world lead more than 150,000 service projects each year and raise nearly $100 million to support children, families, and local communities. Through partnerships with local organizations and support for community programs—including food pantries, toy and backpack drives, and youth sports—as well as Kiwanis-led initiatives such as scholarships, special outings for children with disabilities, summer activities, and community events, the Kiwanis Club of Asbury Park creates meaningful opportunities and positive experiences for children in need.
The Club's projects and campaigns — “What We Do” — are made possible through the generosity of our community, including donations and volunteers, as well as collaborations with like-minded nonprofit organizations.
