New Year, Same Commitment

Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Asbury Park! We're excited to continue our mission to support vulnerable children in our community with even bigger and better initiatives.

We are collaborating with our strategic partners, like Mercy Center for food distribution, Bridge of Books Foundation for book arks, Little League for new equipment and Covenant House for essential home improvements.

Join us in our various fundraisers, including movie nights and our beach toy borrow box, as we work to make an even bigger and more meaningful impact this year!

Proud to Serve the Community!

While we run many of our own events, we partner with other Asbury Park organizations:

  • Little League

  • AP Santa (Kevin Strickland)

  • Music Foundation

  • Youth Football

  • Rotary Club

  • Book Cooperative

  • Public Library

  • Bridge of Books Foundation

  • Community Karma

  • Covenant House

  • Jersey Shore Arts Center

  • Mercy Center

  • Salvation Army

  • Homeowner's Association

Changing Lives of Deserving Youth

Kiwanis AP has been hard at work leading and supporting initiatives and partners focused on positively impacting the lives of so many vulnerable youth living all around us.  Let's take a look.

Memorable Days for Special Kids

Special events like the one at Allaire Community Farm are near and dear to the Kiwanis Club. With Network21 -- a parent-run network of families with Down syndrome -- the Club hosted 20 children at the farm for a day full of pony rides, a petting zoo, hay rides and a healthy lunch

Covenant House Paint Refresh

Kiwanis' partnership with Covenant House offers love and support to boys and girls facing homelessness. But a fresh coat of indoor paint, landscape, bedding and other supplies offer a comfortable living space for residents.

Toy Drive Support

Club members support Community Karma efforts to bring joyous holidays to deserving AP youth and their families.  It takes an army to manage the Santa station at Convention Hall as well as many fundraisers across town.

Socks for Tots

Rapidly becoming a Kiwanis Club tradition, local elementary schools receive over 100 pairs of socks each year for their children of all ages.  The Club collects sox at holiday parties during the season.
